Aiko

Adoption status: Adopted!

Aiko

Hello everyone, my name is now Aiko. I am just a tiny little 1 year old black and tan female Shiba Inu. My family had to give me up to rescue due to life changes. I was purchased from a pet store and lived with a female Shiba a little older than me. I was real lucky to have such a wonderful family that socialized me and gave me basic training. But I’m a little package and we come with BIG personalities. I like to show all the big dogs (well everyone is a big dog next to me!) that I can handle myself!

DC SIR is told that I do well at the dog park and I love meeting people! I can be a bit of a bully with other dogs so DC SIR is going to slowly introduce me to lots of different dogs and see how I do. I was born June 1, 2014 and I weight about 15 lbs. I am a bit nervous about taking treats from my foster mom but I like to stick near her and follow her around.
I have been well taken care of but will need to get spayed next week! I’m not sure I like the sound of that but DC SIR expects me to be cleared for adoption after my 2 week health review and behavior assessment. If you are interested in getting to know me better, be sure to follow my album on DC SIR’s Facebook page. They’ll let you know if I am good with cats, dog and children.
I look forward to meeting you!
