Yuji

Adoption status: Adopted!

YUJI

Hi there everyone! My name is Yuji and I was caught running fast, ‘cause I am FAST, in the streets of Georgia. I’m so handsome and friendly, everyone thought I must have run away from a home, but that is what Shiba Inus do when we are given the chance to run free! No one ever did look for me, so I found myself in a few temporary places until I found my way up north to DC Shiba Inu Rescue (DCSIR). I’ve just loved all the people and dogs I’ve met along the way. I am still real young, maybe around one year old, so I need a family who is willing to invest the time to train me on how to be well behaved. Since I am a proud Shiba Inu, I respond best to positive reinforcement and I’d really like to go to school with my new family so we can learn to communicate with each other. I would love a high energy family who would take me on hikes and adventures since I love to run and play! I’d like a whole bunch of tennis balls, please. I wouldn’t mind having a sis-fur either! I think I’d really enjoy having someone to play with me, since I am so active and social. I’m going to be assessed (I say I’m perfect!) for a couple of weeks and will be available for adoption May 31st at the earliest as long as I don’t have any medical problems. So I just wanted to say hi and ask you to watch my album, Yuji, on Facebook for updates on how awesome I am. Maybe we can meet and you can give me my fur-ever home? Yuji is great with people and other dogs and has not been tested with cats as of 5/16/13.
