Seiji

Adoption status: Adopted!

Hi everyone! My new Japanese name is now Seiji (pronounced SAY–jee) and I am learning it quickly. I’m a handsome, 4 year old red neutered male Shiba Inu. I was born 4/2/2009 so I’m going to be 5 years old soon! I have lived with other cats and dogs my whole life and I generally get along with everyone. That doesn’t mean I like every dog I meet! I am a Shiba Inu after all and we can be picky about who we keep company with. I lived with 3 families in my life but found myself being passed around at no fault of my own.

DC SIR says I have a lot of energy! They think I would do great with an active family! I would like a family who will let me be near them. I will follow you into every room you go and ask for your devoted love and attention. I do need a lot of basic training so I can learn some manners. But otherwise, I’m a typical Shiba Inu. DC SIR promises to give you updates on my personality and progress while I am in foster care. I am even going to have my very own album with pictures and stories of me, me, me! Just like I like it! If you have other dogs and would like to adopt me we have to meet and see if we like each other. I will also need to be adopted with a force free training contract so we can go to school together!

DC SIR is a non-profit, volunteer-run network of foster homes in the Washington, DC area.

DC SIR does not have a shelter facility. To meet our adoptable dogs, interested adopters can attend one of our monthly adoption events.
