Tiki

Adoption status: Adopted!

Hi, my name is Tiki. Although I’m not even 1.4 years old, through no fault of my own, I’ve already been in 4 different homes.

While I lived with my first family, they got a German Shepherd puppy. I liked having a friend to play with, but they could only keep one of us, so they decided to keep the German Shepherd and find a new home for me.

I was given to a nice couple who loved me very much. I lived with them for almost a year, and thought I had found a forever family. Then they got pregnant, and had to move. They couldn’t keep me, so they gave me away to a lady who had several cats. I didn’t get along with the cats, and after I got angry at one of the cats, she said I had to go right away.

I was given back to my original family to keep until DC SIR could take me in. So now I am in a DC SIR foster home, my 5th home so far. I am tired of having to move all the time. I don’t want to have to keep moving and changing families. I hope that my next home will be my forever home! I am a tiny, inquisitive, energetic girl, and I have lots of love to give if someone will give me a chance! DC SIR says my fur is not so great but with a change in diet I’ll be super soft like my foster family!

Tiki is a 1.4 year old female Shiba Inu who is good with people and with some dogs, but will not be adopted to a home with cats or children. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
