Hi everyone! I’m a 3 year old male Shiba Inu. My name is now Hiroki! It means “joy of wealth” in Japanese. I just came to DCSIR from a kill shelter in NC. My people dumped me there because I didn’t get along well with the other dogs in the house. I’d just prefer to be your number one! They also said I didn’t play nice with the little kids in the house but they just didn’t know how to treat a proud Shiba Inu like myself! DCSIR says I need to be in a home without other dogs or children. But I sure am glad they saved me because a rescue was my only way out of the shelter!Today I met some cats. One cat was kinda mean to me and bopped me in the head so I ran and hid from him. The other Kitty was pretty nice so I just sniffed him and sat down for petting from people. My foster parents have a cat so I’ll let you know how we get along in the next week. So when DCSIR hear about me they were told I was a meanie and had to be muzzled. But I’m not! I just need a family with positive training experience and I promise to play with you and give you kisses all over! I have tons of energy and I LOVE to play ball. I also love to kiss your face and sit in your lap. If you are really kind I’ll follow you everywhere and love you forever. Do you think I can find my forever home with you? I will be available for my perfect forever family after I get neutered, but you can fill out an application to be my new pawrents at www.dcsir.org!Dogs: NoCats: Tentative YesKids: No
