Gracie is a 2 month old, female, red Shiba Inu.  See her Facebook album!

Hi everyone, my name is now Gracie and a Facebook fan named me saying it evokes Southern grace and charm. I was released with my sister to a rescue in SC and they called DC SIR. There were a lot of kind people who volunteered to drive me and my sister to DC SIR. It took all day, but we finally got there late at night. My sister and I were full of energy and we were so hungry! We ate all our food and zoomed around with the other dogs and cats at Shiba HQ! We stayed up pretty late because we slept a lot on the long drive. I am smaller than my sister, but I am louder and more confident! I’m a little pup with a big personality. When we were finally ready to go to sleep in our doggy playpen, the resident cat jumped into our pen and went to sleep in my dog bed! I started yelling at him to get out, but he ignored me and just went to sleep! So I slept in the other bed with my sister. I learn very quickly and saw another dog go through the dog door, so I tried it, too! I also learned how to get out of my playpen! My foster mom says she has to keep an eye on me or I am out being a rascal! I learned to sit very quickly for my treats. I am also pretty good about using my potty pad area while I learn to potty outside. It has been very cold at Shiba HQ, so when I am done pottying, I jump on my foster mom, and she stuffs me in her jacket while we wait for my sister to finish since she usually takes longer than me. I love chasing the other dogs and cats around the house, too! Chase is so fun! If you think I am a good fit for your family, apply to adopt me!
