Holly is a 6 month old, female, cream mixed Shiba Inu.  See her Facebook album!

Hi everyone, my name is now Holly, named after this holiday season by a Facebook fan. I am a small 15lb, six-month-old, cream female Shiba Inu mix. I was found living in the woods with two other dogs. Animal Control near the PA border thinks we were dumped from a breeding facility. While at the shelter, DC SIR was told we hung out in the lobby with resident cats and other friendly dogs to greet guests. DC SIR worked on getting us to Shiba HQ before the holidays so we can get our forever homes and spend lots of quality time with our families who will never abandon us. When DC SIR volunteers picked us up, I got to sit with my other cream friend in the back seat. I wore a doggie seatbelt and sat well in the car. I tried to reach up front to give the volunteers kisses, but my seatbelt wasn’t long enough so I settled on the dog bed. I did get car sick on the long winding drive but felt just fine as soon as I could explore the yard. Once I met the other dogs at Shiba HQ, I was brought in for my bath. My foster mom said I smelled very bad, and the water was a dark brown. It took a few rinses, but once I was clean, I was so happy that I did zoomies all over the house. DC SIR was told I was good with cats, but that was not the case at all. I will chase cats constantly! DC SIR thinks I’d do best in a home with other friendly dogs or as an only pet. I would make a great companion for your kids! Do you want a high-energy super super-loving Shiba Mix to be part of your pack? Apply to adopt me today!
