Kimiko was born in a NC shelter to her Shiba Inu mom, Miyo. Miyo was in the shelter for an entire month and no one knew she was pregnant. The day Miyo’s kennel mate got adopted, Miyo had her baby, Kimiko. DC SIR had planned to rescue Miyo and when they found out about the puppy they moved swiftly to get them into a safe and stress free environment in a foster home.
