Hi there! My name is Bearzo and I am 4 years old. The family that I lived with since I was a puppy had to give me to DC SIR for personal reasons. Let me tell you a little bit about myself! I love people. I want to be petted, scratched and rubbed all the time. It just feels so good to have a loving person touching me! Like most Shibas, I love treats. If you want to get me to do tricks, there better be some yummy treat involved! I might not want to eat it right away, though. If I feel like saving it for a rainy day, I might look for a place to hide it until later! My foster thinks that’s kind of quirky, but I think it just shows how smart I am! After all, I know comments like sit, come, out, drop-it, and will even wait to eat if you ask nicely.
I get along great with other dogs, especially cute Shibas like me! I wag my tail and shake my butt, and just want to play with them. I’m just a happy boy with a big heart. All I need now is my perfect forever home with a loving human to play and cuddle with me. Who wouldn’t want a smart, handsome, loving boy like me in their home? Maybe I’ll even get to have some awesome Shiba friends to play with! Bearzo gets along well with other dogs in an outside setting. He would most likely do best in a home without cats or very small children.
