EBI

Hello everyone, my name is now Ebi. I am just a tiny little one year old black and tan female Shiba Inu. The only family I ever knew left me alone at this place called the shelter because my family broke apart and no one wanted to keep me. I was pretty scared there and tried to make myself small and keep to myself. The nice people at the animal shelter saw how terrified I was and reached out to DC Shiba Inu Rescue to take me into their family. DC SIR sent someone right away and got me out the very next day. I’m still a bit tired because I just got spayed.

When my foster mom picked me up from the shelter, I was so happy to be held and cuddled again. But there are so many new faces and things I’ve never seen so I’m a bit shy. The day I got out of the shelter I got to stop by a DC SIR event and I met the other dogs in the rescue. They were very nice to me and I felt good being around them. DC SIR doesn’t yet know if I like cats but they promise to let you know more about that later. After I met the other people and dogs at DC SIR I got to play with my foster mom and meet some small children and I liked them a lot. I know they are little like me so I was gentle with them.

DC SIR does not have a shelter facility. To meet our adoptable dogs, interested adopters can attend one of our monthly adoption events.
