Genji

Adoption status: Adopted!

GENJI

Hi everyone! My name is now Genji and I am an 8 month old Black and Tan male Shiba Inu puppy! I’m a big boy for my age at 24lbs! My family took great care of me but changes in their life circumstances brought me here to DC SIR. I have been to puppy school and know things like sit, shake and down. But I don’t like to sit still because I have sooooo much energy! I would love to go to a family that is very active and loves to play with me and take me on adventures. I was an only dog in my home but I’m playing well with the other DC SIR rescues and fosters I meet.

My previous family noted I don’t like little dogs – they are like cats and I don’t like cats either. Well, I like to chase cats! I also lived with children and did well supervised. I am very high energy and fast so you need to know that if I see an open door I’m going to show you how fast I can run from you! DC SIR says I need a family that has Shiba Inu experience or has done a lot of research on my breed. I can also be vocal when playing with other dogs and I will yell louder than them but that’s how I have fun! DC SIR said they will be updating my story with pictures and videos. You should know a lot more about me when I become available for adoption. I will be available for my perfect forever family after November 29, 2013, but you can fill out an application to be my new pawrents!
