Jeshika

Adoption status: Adopted!

JESHIKA

Hello everyone, my name is now Jeshika. I am just a tiny little 5 year old black and tan female Shiba Inu. I was found wandering the streets in PA on Christmas Eve and the shelter that took me in called me Jessica Kringle. I’m glad they found me because I’m too small to live on my own. The nice people at the animal shelter cared for me for a month until they found DC SIR. DC SIR kept my name but gave me the Japanese version, Jeshika! I think it suites me well, don’t you?
The people at the shelter say I have a high prey drive because I get a little giddy when I see small furry animals like cats! It wasn’t my fault, the kitties just looked like they needed to be chased. So I chased them!

DC SIR didn’t care if I chased cats and said they would put me in a foster home that understood me. I’m so tiny and cute, and I just know that DCSIR will help me find my perfect forever home!

DC SIR is a non-profit, volunteer-run network of foster homes in the Washington, DC area.

DC SIR does not have a shelter facility. To meet our adoptable dogs, interested adopters can attend one of our monthly adoption events.
