Trouble with ‘No’

Show your dog what you want him to do, rather than punishing him for what you don’t want him to do. Do you constantly find yourself saying “No!”, “Stop!”, “Don’t!’, and “Eh-Eh!” to interrupt your dog’s inappropriate behavior? Focus on which behaviors you’d like to see more of. Empower your dog to offer desirable, reinforceable behaviors as an alternative to problem behaviors.

Using a positive interrupter is the best way to redirect your dog away from a negative situation and toward something more desirable.
