Jasmine

Jasmine is a 7 month old female red Shiba Inu. Follow her Facebook album.

Hello everyone! My name is now Jasmine in honor of a summer of flower puppy names! My foster mom said a bunch of flower names, and I loved the name Jasmine right away! I am a petite 7-month-old female Shiba Inu. My family loved me very much and got me to be a companion to their senior Shiba Inu. Unfortunately, she was used to live as an only pet and became so stressed that she would hide under the bed all day. My family loves her and decided it was best to find a home where I can play with other Shibas so that their Shiba could enjoy her senior years in peace with her parents. I was nervous on the drive to Shiba HQ and wouldn’t take any treats. But my foster mom took the time to tell me about all the great adventures I am going to have with so many friendly Shibas! Somehow I believed her and started to take treats on the long drive to Shiba HQ. When I arrived, I got to explore the yard and meet Mimosa. Soon many other friendly Shibas came out to meet me. I realized how happy everyone there was, and I started to do zoomies all over the big yard! I followed my foster mom everywhere and wouldn’t let her out of sight! She even took me to feed the chickens and do chores in the far part of the yard, and I didn’t leave her side. When she felt I would be gentle enough, I met the 5-week-old puppies. They were so tiny I thought they were toys. Soon I realized they wanted to be my friend! I was so excited I zoomed around them so fast you could barely see me! I also met the resident cat, and I got along with everyone. I love treats, cuddling up against my foster mom, and learning to use the dog door. I haven’t had any potty accidents at all! DC SIR thinks I am such a friendly and well-adjusted Shiba! I will require a 2-week health and temperament assessment before I am available for adoption!
