Mochi (formerl Tsuyoi) was rescued from a puppy mill in May 2013. In June 2013, he was adopted into his forever home. See Mochi’s full story and photo album.
Mochi’s mom sent us an update on all the adventures he’s had since being adopted:
Mochi ALWAYS captures everyone’s attention wherever he goes. Any time we take him out with his whether it is to the pet store, the park, restaurants, people love to pet him and always stop to ask us about him. They are usually in disbelief when they find out he is 6 years old since he looks like a puppy.
Mochi went on his first family vacation this past summer. He got to visit NY, Boston, Vermont, Maine. He got to see the beaches, mountains, the Ben and Jerry’s factory, and national parks in the New England area.
Even though Mochi was very shy and timid when we first got him, he has turned out to be a very curious Shiba! He follows us around the house and always wants to know what everyone’s up to. If you’re making your way to the pantry, he will without a doubt follow behind.
Mochi loves playing with his toys and pull them out to indicate he wants you to play with him. He loves playing tug of war.
Mochi loves running in the snow; our walks become runs since he loves the cold/winter and always trots through the deepest patches of snow he can
find.
