Shari was a 1 year old who found herself in someone’s backyard after wandering the mountains of North Carolina. DC SIR rescued Shari in May 2013, and on June 21, 2013, Shari was adopted into her forever home!
The fit could not have been better for an energetic, active lover of the outdoors like Shari! She continues to thrive on a raw diet along with her two older Shiba siblings. Shari’s mom sent us an update on how she’s been getting along with her family.
Shari (aka Sharster, aka Little-Little, aka Booger Butt) loves digging for treasure at the beach with her big brother in the sand.
She also loves playing soccer (she’s a stellar goalie by the way) and tug-o-war.
She can even run fast enough to fly!
Shari poses for the camera when she’s ready for her close up or when she’s not snuggling in her blankies.
When she doesn’t want to play she will be sure to tell everyone as she is a talker!
Her big sister is teaching her to sit and wait patiently for home made beef jerky treats.
And they regularly fine tune their hunting skills together by stalking and chasing local backyard squirrels.
She is also still quite the snuggler with mom and dad!
Thank you to Shari’s mom for the update!
