Miya is currently in a foster home with two other dogs, Koda and Saga. Her foster pawrents sent us an update.
Miya LOVES playing! She is opening up a lot to us, and she is becoming very playful with us, especially with Koda. She LOVES our big goofy Koda! She would do well in a house with other dogs.
She is pretty smart too; it took her less than 20 seconds to figure out how to play with the Kong. She is food-oriented, so training is really easy.
She is a really chill dog. She is very easy with our 2 dogs.
She lives her life in the house quietly. She could be called the “aloof” kind of Shiba. She doesn’t cuddle and doesn’t like to be held. If I try to pick her up to cuddle with me on the sofa, she jumps away from me.
But, she comes to me all the time to get a little petting on the belly! She loves belly and chest rubs!!!! Definitely her favorite spot! She is a kisser! She gives us tons of kisses a day.
She is still shy around new men, but if she meets the same man a few times, she becomes friendly and says hi without barking. She loves her foster dad, he gets kisses and attention all the time. She is very easy. She is independent but soooo easy to love.
Miya is an adoptable female Shiba. See more of Miya in her rescue album: http://on.fb.me/1rGHfxF
