May was quite a month for DC SIR!
We welcomed 7 new rescues into the DC SIR family: Mari, Kibou, Tsuyoi, Kuma, Shari, Washi, and Yuji.
6 of our dogs got adopted into their forever homes: Shinji, Max, Jae, Kira, Sadie (formerly Sakura), and Mari! Congratulations again to all of the families!
This month we made lots of new friends at the Reston Pet Fiesta on May 4 celebrated our one year anniversary on May 10, and had a great Mothers Day meetup on May 12!
We also raised awareness about puppy mills thanks to all of you who shared our posts through social media.
