Lovey

Lovey is a 6 month old, female, sesame Shiba Inu.  Follow her Facebook album.

Hello everyone, my name is now Lovey. I am named Lovey by a fan for the theme of Valentine Pups. the tiniest and youngest Shiba Inu rescued from the OH commercial breeding facility. When DC SIR came to pick me up from transport, they didn’t have enough crates for everyone, so I got to sit in the front seat with a doggie seatbelt! OMD, I was so excited! I shook my tail, flattened my ears, squinted my eyes, and squealed joyfully! DC SIR thinks I am a young puppy, just a couple of months old, because I still have my puppy teeth. They will let you know more about me after my vet appointment. I absolutely love everyone I meet: people, dogs, cats, and even the chickens on the homestead! I just want to give everyone kisses and get all your love! If you call me in a happy voice, I will come to you. Sometimes, I get so excited and may tinkle a bit, but otherwise, I haven’t had any accidents in the house. I get so excited when my foster mom shows me a new toy, and I can play with it for hours. I learned how to use the dog door and the stairs in one day! I love playing with the other resident puppies at Shiba HQ and will play until I am completely exhausted. I am such a fast learner that my foster family has already given me free rein of the house, and I do not need to be crated at night! I am easily redirected to chew on appropriate toys, and I can take myself out to potty through the dog door. DC SIR thinks I am a very smart girl and can excel in puppy training with a family that wants to teach me! I am also great with body handling. I didn’t squirm for my bath or nail trim. Basically, I’m a perfect little girl with a lot of energy and love to give to a family who will love me forever! If you think your family is right for me, watch for my available post and apply to adopt me after my vet appointment!
