Hello everyone, my name is Nugget because my foster mom says I am a compact high-energy love bug. I was rescued from a PA puppy mill with 2 other Shiba Inus. I am a small red female, and DC SIR thinks I am about 8 years old, but I act like a playful 2-year-old. DC SIR can tell that I lived in a home before. I love people and will paw and nudge you to pet or pick me up and put me in your lap. I never thought I would be free again. Then volunteers came to take me on a four-hour drive. The volunteer told me my life would be beautiful and better than ever and fed me boiled chicken. I sat in the front crate, and I kept pawing at the volunteer to touch me. I love attention. When I arrived at Shiba HQ, the volunteers carried our crates to a large backyard. We were set free to explore on our own. I pottied, then I began sniffing so many smells. Soon the other rescues and I realized we could RUN! We pranced, and the volunteers cheered us on! So we ran and pranced faster and ran around the big yard. I ran to my rescuers, jumped on them, and kissed them. I let them know I am so thankful to be out of that cage. I follow my foster moms around and regularly paw at them to pick me up and put me on their lap. I’m an active and playful Shiba! I try to play with all the other dogs at Shiba HQ! DC SIR will have the vet guess an accurate age for me. I am smaller and more compact than most Shibas, and my personality is super friendly. I love cuddling on the couch and ensuring I am touching someone. I never want to be so alone in a cage again. Please let DC SIR know if you think we could be together forever!
