November is Adopt a Senior Month, so in honor of this we are featuring updates of some of our adopted Senior alumni. Aki, a 13 year old senior Shiba, was rescued from a kill shelter in the south. She came into rescue nearly bald with infected skin allergies. Her foster mom got her on a raw diet and Aki’s fur quickly filled in!  Even better, her foster mom, a DC SIR Board of Director, adopted her! She was adopted in April…
