DCSIR Alumni Updates: Aki

November is Adopt a Senior Month, so in honor of this we are featuring updates of some of our adopted Senior alumni. Aki, a 13 year old senior Shiba, was rescued from a kill shelter in the south. She came into rescue nearly bald with infected skin allergies. DC SIR does not have a shelter facility. To meet our adoptable dogs, interested adopters can attend one of our monthly adoption events.
