Goma has made great progress since being rescued last month, and his foster mom has been filling us in on his adventures!

Update: December 2, 2013

“All day today, Goma has decided he isn’t satisfied enough with the lower level and that he would tackle the split foyer steps. It’s taken him a few stumbles and about 18 hours, but he bravely keeps going up and down them now!

Tonight, Goma came in from his evening walk, and marched straight past me, down the steps, and went exploring around the lower level of the house. No panting, no whining, just super curious! So proud of him.

I had taken the gate down last week since Goma had started getting curious about the steps and where people would disappear to… and started to try to go over the brick ledge! I figured having the steps accessible would be better than having him take a fall over the ledge.”
